  • Pack a dinner, grab a blanket, and take the family to the park, eat under a tree instead of at the kitchen table.If you’re single pack your dinner, and maybe add enough for two, you never know!
  • Take a book, magazine, your holey book, sit on a lake, sea, stream, or sit at your local bookstore. Any serene place he can find, he will. On your way home from work, drive your car right to the place you find most serene, and spend even 10 minutes there.
  • Call someone you have not talked to in a long time. Someone who has been on your mind. It will not only change your day, it will change yours.
  • Take that basket of clothes and a blanket, sit outdoors and fold your clothes, or instead of the usual place, go through a window, and listen to the twittering of the birds as it folds.
  • After dinner, take a walk on the block, you would be surprised how many people are walking.
