A half hour on a bus can achieve a lot. Constantly reviewing and reassessing your schedule can help you to recognize whether you need to make any changes in order to help you complete any university tasks and also have time to relax and spend time with friends and family.

Include some ‘me’ time

Taking this “me” time can be as simple as sitting on the deck, reading a book, and watching the sun come up with a hot cup of coffee, or it can be as detailed as engaging in a beloved hobby for a half hour or more. Taking “me” time also builds your self-esteem over time, as you come to realize that you are important and deserve to have a little time to yourself. You’ll work or study better if you include some time just for you, to do what you enjoy doing. Allocate that as though it were a serious task – it deserves to be treated seriously, if you’re going to be able to get a better balance in your life. It can’t be all work and no play.
