Prime Minister’s Fee Reimbursement Scheme Eligibility Criteria

Prime Minister’s is announced Fee Reimbursement Scheme for Less Developed Areas students in MA, M.Sc, MBA, M.Phil , MS and PhD degree programs. This Prime Minister scheme was approved in June 2012 by the Government and was initially designed to reimburse tuition fees and on and off mandatory charges for the students of Balochistan, FATA and Gilgit Baltistan students. For to improve the conditions of education in the remote past areas of Pakistan where there is no any quality education so by implementing on the rules and regulations of Govt the Higher Education Commission has decided once again four years to announce a fabulous scheme named “Prime Minister Fees Reimbursement Scheme” This program is basically offered from the Masters/MS/M.Phil and for Ph.D programs for to get admission for the year.

Fields of Study Subjects

Prime Minister’s Fee Reimbursement Scheme offered for the following degree in any field:

  • MA / M.Sc
  • MBA
  • MS / M.Phil
  • MS / M.Phil (Medical Universities)
  • PhD (Natural Sciences)
  • PhD (Social Sciences & others)

Duration of Scholarships

  • MA / M.Sc (2 years)
  • MBA (3.5 years)
  • MS / M.Phil (2 years)
  • MS / M.Phil Medical Universities (2 years minimum and 3 years maximum)
  • PhD Natural Sciences (5 years)
  • PhD Social Sciences & others (4 years)

Scholarships Descriptions

  • Cover actual Tuition Fee (of Masters, MS/MPhil and PhD programs)
  • On and Off Mandatory charges which includes:
  • Registration Fee/Enrollment Fee
  • Admission fee (For new admissions only)
  • Examination Fee
  • Library charges (non-refundable)
  • Laboratory charges
  • Research related academic activities only
  • Non study related heads like: transport fee, hostel fee, Sports fee, Endowment Fund, Equipment Fee, Health Fee or Any Refundable dues will not be paid

Eligibility Criteria

For this scheme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Having valid domicile/local certificate of specified areas
  • Applicants who are enrolled on merit in Masters, MS/M.Phil programs in the HEC identified public sector universities/affiliated government institutions, located in the geographical territory of their province/Region/Area
  • Applicants who are enrolled in PhD program in the HEC identified public sector universities/affiliated government institutions anywhere across Pakistan

    How to apply after matric in laptop scheme, I done my matric in 2016 and I’m going to apply in the pMNl laptop scheme but they demand university there is no any board ..then what I do for this ? Please help me how to apply after matric
